Sweenor Builders was honored with a 2019 Community Partner Award at the South County Habitat for Humanity Annual Meeting on October 21st at the North Beach Club House in Narragansett, RI.
This distinction was given to three companies, out of more than 70, that contributed to the charity in our region last year. We were proud to be named alongside Bank of America and MetLife, and joined by the other donors, volunteers and community leaders who were gathered to celebrate the charity’s accomplishments.
Last year Sweenor dedicated its field team to install the 35 windows and 3 doors needed for a new home that Habitat was building in Exeter, RI. This Old House provided support, helping the project and cause gain additional exposure by airing a: 30-minute Facebook Live segment for 795,000 followers.
“This was a fantastic opportunity for our team to give back, plus we had a great time doing it! We look forward to building on this, trying to make a greater impact with our corporate giving by focusing our efforts on industry-related causes where we can combine financial support with our expertise and manpower.” — Jeff Sweenor, President & CEO
