Sweenor Builders received Gold and Silver distinctions at Rhode Island Monthly’s twenty-fourth annual design awards last night!
The Jamestown Net Zero project earned Gold for Residential Renovation and the 2018 Idea House earned Silver for Residential Interior Design. Both projects were completed in collaboration with our partners at Union Studio Architecture and Community Design and This Old House.
Special kudos to our in-house designer Kristen Martone for wowing the judges with her work at the Idea House. Judges noted:
“Every element of this home’s interior, from the myriad pieces of custom millwork to the décor choices, were thoughtfully considered and beautifully executed.”
Sweenor team members were on hand to celebrate the annual awards at the Rhode Island Design Center, including Architectural Designer Lorine Foley, Interior Designer Kristen Martone, and Project Manager Doug Blaine. All are pictured below with Jessica Hagen, owner of Jessica Hagen Fine Art and Design, who incorporated an exhibition of local Rhode Island artists as part of the home’s grand opening.
