A man who likes to be where the action is, Mark Cummins is well-suited to the life of a Site Superintendent.

Mr. Cummins manages our field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, construction activities, and materials, to ensure that the highest quality standards are met as projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Mark brings 30 years’ experience to his role, OSHA professional certification, and the vast range of carpentry skills and experience that come from learning the business from the ground up.  His areas of specialization include historic restoration, post and beam construction, and finishing work.   Mark complements these talents with the broader perspective of running his own shop, which he did successfully for more than a decade, and which he credits with his ability to serve as a “jack of all trades” as needed.

An asset to our team and a pleasure to collaborate with, Mark is happiest when he’s the field swinging a hammer.  His wife is quick to agree, reminding him of how lucky he is to genuinely love going to work every day.  To Mark’s surprise, the larger team environment has been the perfect fit after being on his own, offering the right balance of autonomy and coordination with other professionals who are also committed to performing at the highest level.

Off the job, you’ll find Mark with his wife and their daughters, or surrounded by guitars and other instruments that he likes to play.
