Jessica Karpeichik

Architectural Designer

With a Master of Architecture from Roger Williams University and nearly a decade of experience in high-end residential design, Jessica brings both expertise and passion to her role at Sweenor Builders. Since 2017, she has worked with some of Rhode Island’s most prestigious firms, honing her craft in designing homes that are as beautiful as they are livable. Her semester of study in Florence, Italy continues to inspire her love of traditional architecture and thoughtful detailing.

At Sweenor, Jessica designs residences from the inside and out, crafting cohesive architectural visions that extend from the exterior form to the smallest interior details. She has a particular passion for millwork, whether it’s experimenting with molding profiles, designing kitchens and bathrooms, or collaborating with the in-house shop to see her designs come to life. She values working closely with clients to understand their lifestyle and style preferences, ensuring every home feels uniquely personal.

A career highlight was designing her parents’ forever home, where she was able to transform decades of family living into a space that perfectly supported their way of life. That same commitment to creating lasting, meaningful homes guides her work at Sweenor, where she sees her role as both a designer and an advocate for clients.

When she’s not sketching new ideas, Jessica enjoys traveling—especially to Italy—gardening, exploring Rhode Island’s restaurant scene, and spending weekends in Newport at favorite local spots like the Clarke Cooke House and Gardiner House. What inspires her most is knowing that the homes she designs not only enrich her clients’ lives but also bring beauty to the streetscapes of New England, just as the houses she admired growing up once inspired her.
