Molly is the Chief Growth Officer at Sweenor Builders, where she leads the company’s strategic growth initiatives across branding, marketing, business development, and client experience. With a focus on elevating Sweenor Builders as Rhode Island’s premier luxury design-build firm, she has played a key role in refining the company’s messaging to emphasize its seamless, in-house approach—integrating architecture, interior design, and construction under one roof.

With more than 20 years of experience in digital marketing—spanning e-commerce, agency work, social media management, and brand storytelling—Molly brings a passion for connection and craftsmanship to her role. Her career has taken her through industries as diverse as maritime history, high-end consumer electronics, cosmetics, and pet products, but one thing has remained constant: her belief that a company’s true success lies in its people.

At Sweenor Builders, she channels that philosophy into every aspect of growth and client engagement, helping shape the company’s brand, guide its sales and business development strategy, and enhance the experience clients receive from first introduction through project completion. She works closely with leadership and project teams to ensure the company’s reputation for extraordinary craftsmanship is matched by an equally exceptional client experience.

Under her leadership, Sweenor Builders has expanded its digital presence, refined its storytelling, and strengthened relationships within the luxury home and real estate communities. Her work was recently recognized with a 2025 Providence Business Journal C-Suite Award.

Beyond her professional role, Molly is a coffee enthusiast, beach lover, a wife, and mom to four boys who keep her on her toes—and provide plenty of stories of their own.

Shawn Streeter

Chief Financial Officer

 

As Chief Financial Officer, Shawn is responsible for all the company’s finance functions, including accounting, treasury, corporate finance and risk management. His career spans more than 20 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy. Prior to joining Sweenor in 2023, Shawn served as CFO to Extreme Reach Inc., a private equity owned global SaaS company. Prior to beginning his finance career, Shawn served 7 years in the U.S. Army’s Military Police Corps. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Sheila has been an integral part of Sweenor Builders from the very beginning, ensuring the company’s success behind the scenes. While she’s never been one for titles, her expertise in financial management and operations has helped shape the firm’s stability and growth over the years.

With a sharp eye for detail, Sheila oversees fiscal management, financial reporting, and insurance compliance, helping to maintain the high standards that define Sweenor Builders. Her dedication and strategic oversight have been instrumental in keeping operations running smoothly.

A graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Sheila began her career as a pharmacist, working full-time while supporting Jeff as he built the business. As Sweenor Builders grew, so did her role—eventually taking the lead in managing the company’s financial operations.

Beyond the office, Sheila enjoys making the most of New England’s seasons, whether skiing in the winter or boating with her family in the summer.

Jeff Sweenor

Believing that actions speak louder than words, Jeff’s manner is humble and easy-going.  He builds relationships on a foundation of integrity and respect, and is known for his good nature. Jeff’s positive attitude and contagious smile belie an unwavering drive to deliver the best in custom building. His energy defines the success and ethos of our company.

Sweenor credits his work ethic to the influence of his father and the experience he gained at his family’s 5th generation chocolate business. He was raised on hard work and the mantra: “when you’re through improving yourself, you’re through.” Sports were also a driving force in Jeff’s life, honing his focus, discipline, and a willingness to go the extra mile in pursuit of a goal. Among his athletic accomplishments, Jeff was a member of the 1984 National Champion University of Rhode Island men’s rowing team, and he competed on the US National Rowing Team at the Pan American Games.

With characteristic determination, Jeff built his career in construction from the ground up. He founded Sweenor Builders in 1989, carefully assembling a team of craftsmen who share his passion for creating the finest quality homes while delivering exceptional client experiences. Thirty years later, Sweenor Builders has become one of Rhode Islands’ most sought-after builders thanks to Jeff’s vision.  Jeff is directly involved in each project, and remains focused on continually broadening and deepening his expertise, attracting the best in the business, and expanding firm capabilities.
