Sweenor Builders is managing this significant historic preservation in the heart of Narragansett Pier. The focus of our project is a Queen Anne Victorian home built in 1887. More than a century later, and after having been abandoned for a few years, the home sat prominently along one of Narragansett’s main thoroughfares in severely poor condition. Thanks to new homeowners opting to preserve the structure, we are working within Narragansett Historic District Commission guidelines to recapture as much of the home’s historic architecture and charm as possible. The story of our sweeping restoration will be chronicled on the 2020/2021 season of This Old House TV.
